International Sloth Day
Saturday 24th October 2026
Join us at Wild Discovery, help us celebrate International Sloth Day and raise vital funds to save sloths!
On the day we will have a Sloth Talk at 10.45am, where you can come along learn all about sloths, and our sloth Santiago.
A Keeper Chat table with activities, artefacts and information about The Sloth Institute, the conservation project we support out in Costa Rica that helps saves wild sloths.
A raffle where you could win a range of sloth goodies, including an encounter for 2 people (must be aged 8 years +), a sloth cushion and a sloth teddy. Tickets are just £2 each.
Colouring competition will be running throughout the day – the winner will receive a family pass for 5 to visit Wild Discovery.

All the monies raised on the day will be donated to The Sloth Institute.
